ABB 25A 3 Pole Weather Proof Isolator Switch Disconnector – IP65 (BW325TPN)

The ABB 25A 3 Pole Weather Proof Isolator Switch Disconnector (BW325TPN) is a heavy-duty manual isolator designed to safely de-energize three-phase circuits during maintenance, servicing, or emergency shutdowns. Unlike a circuit breaker, which trips automatically on overload, an isolator provides a visible, guaranteed physical gap in the contacts — a mandatory safety requirement on industrial and commercial sites. Housed in a rugged, UV- and chemical-resistant PBT enclosure, it's built to withstand tough indoor and outdoor environments.

Why You'll Love It

• 25A, 3-Pole Configuration – Simultaneously isolates all three phases of a circuit for complete, safe disconnection.
• IP65 Weatherproof Rating – Fully dust-tight and protected against low-pressure water jets, making it ideal for outdoor and exposed installations.
• Durable PBT Enclosure – High impact strength, chemical-resistant, UV-protected (rated F1 per UL 746C) for long service life.
• Padlockable Handle – Handle locks in the "O" (off) position as standard, with a shackle for up to 6 padlocks, supporting lockout-tagout (LOTO) safety procedures.
• Easy Cable Entry – Threaded knock-out cable outlets for straightforward, clean installation.
• Trusted Global Brand – Engineered by ABB, conforming to IEC 60947-3 (switch-disconnectors) and EN 60204 (safety of machinery).

Perfect For

Pumps, motors, outdoor machinery, HVAC systems, and any three-phase circuit requiring a dependable, weatherproof point of manual isolation for maintenance or emergency shutdown.

Installation Note

This is an electrical isolation device intended for use by licensed/qualified electricians in accordance with local electrical safety codes and lockout-tagout procedures.
