ABB Weather Proof Isolator 40A 4 Pole – Aluminium Enclosure, IP65 (KSE440TPSN

The ABB KSE440TPSN Weather Proof Isolator (40A, 4 Pole) is a robust enclosed switch-disconnector designed for power distribution in factories and buildings, serving as a local motor isolator or main switch — including systems with a switchable neutral. Built with a rigid aluminium (Silumin) enclosure, it delivers exceptional strength and durability for demanding industrial environments, while its IP65 rating makes it fully suited to outdoor exposure.

Why You'll Love It

• 40A, 4-Pole Isolation – Disconnects all four poles (including switchable neutral) simultaneously, providing a visible, guaranteed physical gap for safe maintenance and emergency shutdowns.
• Rigid Aluminium (Silumin) Enclosure – Far more durable and impact-resistant than standard plastic-bodied isolators, ideal for harsh industrial or outdoor sites.
• IP65 Weatherproof (with compression glands) – UV-protected paint and a sealed enclosure protect against dust and low-pressure water jets, suited for both indoor and outdoor installation.
• Padlockable Handle – Designed for one padlock, supporting lockout-tagout (LOTO) safety procedures; cover is interlocked for extra protection.
• 5-Wire System Ready – Comes with switchable neutral and PE terminals, plus membrane glands (IP54) or sealing plugs included as standard.
• Easy-Access Terminals – Threaded cable entries with knock-out holes on top and bottom, sized for two parallel cables, simplifying installation.

Perfect For

Factories, commercial buildings, and outdoor installations needing a heavy-duty, corrosion-resistant 4-pole isolator for 40A three-phase-plus-neutral circuits.

Installation Note

This is an electrical isolation device intended for use by licensed/qualified electricians. For full IP65 protection, compression glands must be used (membrane glands supplied as standard give IP54).
